Often known as the Queen of Flowers, peonies are the most extravagant, breathtaking and opulent of flowers. We have teamed our Peony with a Bumble Bee, as they are naturally drawn to peonies for their vibrant colours and wonderful fragrance and provide ample nectar and pollen, essential food sources for bees. The bee is stitched in stranded cotton and the rest of the design is in tapestry wool. A few simple stitches add another dimension, but you can stitch the whole design in tent stitch if you prefer.
