Millefiori Tote Bag

Dahlias are spectacular. There are so many different varieties and they produce vibrant blooms. They love the sun, which is why they have been so stunning during our very hot summer this year.
Millefiori, is an Italian word meaning ‘A thousand Flowers’. It is an Italian glass technique, perfected in Murano, Venice, often appearing in paperweights. So, Venetian paperweights together with Dahlias inspired our exquisite Millefiori Tote Bag.
We have used lots of stitchery in this design which gives it a three dimensional look, and surrounded the squares with gold coton perle, although, as with all our designs Tent stitch can be used throughout.

Finished size:
36 x 39cm (14 x 15.5”) plus handles

Kit contains:
100% cotton 10 count canvas, printed in full colour, double sided with handles, long enough for a shoulder bag.  Enough tapestry wool and coton perle to complete the design, needles, a colour picture and easy to follow instructions for stitching and making up, all in a black laminated gift bag.
